Just posting this pic of me sitting in the middle of the Mediterranean because it was seriously one of the most magical places I’ve ever been. Plus I am terrified of heights and to get to this particular beach I had to rock climb down a narrow “path” and climb down a long ladder to reach it. Half way I felt like I was going to have a panic attack but I made it! When we got there my husband told me I should be proud of myself and you know what I am! All my instincts told me to turn around and not to go but I would have missed such a beautiful experience. Lesson to be learned right? Take a risk, you may not regret it!
I just want to thank my super supportive clients who encourage me to take time off, and think I deserve it. It always feels like a major undertaking when planning to take days off and it is hard to ask everyone to adjust their lash schedules but just know trips like this allow me to come back more focused and keep me from burning out. I actually cannot wait to see a lot of you and I have been missing doing lashes! You know you’ve found your passion when your laying on a beach thinking about making fans 😄
So thankful for these past two weeks. Sometimes I find myself in autopilot, going through the motions of everyday. It’s important for me to snap out of the same ol’ routines to see what I’ve really been missing. Unfortunately sometimes the only way I can relax is by escaping reality. Being in an entirely new environment forces me to not stress so much about what I could be getting done. It also allows me to reconnect to the people who matter the most. Whether it’s a trip with friends or family. This trip was just my husband and I. Sometimes we go over 24 hours without seeing each other so getting 13 uninterrupted days with him was exactly what I needed. While on this trip I met lovely people from around Europe who all said Americans don’t take nearly enough holiday. I say we change that! We all deserve to take some time for ourselves to rest, relax, and reconnect 💙
This was the full set from my @mavenartistry class I took early February and I have tried so hard to implement everything I learned in that class because it truly was some 💣 information!
